The theme of loss is not just about mourning the death of a significant, but also situations such as illness or disability is irreversible, the separation from a loved one, a dramatic change affecting their lives. In school, children's literature and other educational sectors is still inadequate response to the need to address this issue, as if the losses and humiliations that occur during the existence did not form an integral part of life, as if they had a training necessary to a better understanding of the meaning of life and love.
The conference will provide an opportunity for reflection on and an inspiration for the acquisition of tools to handle these situations more effectively for themselves and for children and young people we take care.
